VagCom Plugin - Centrafuse 4.x / 3.x (1767 Downloads)

With the VagCom Plugin for the CarPC Software Centrafuse also Owners from not OBD2 compatible cars can finally enjoy Live-Measuredata integrated in the CarPC Frontent.
But also Owners of newer VAG Cars can benefit from this plugin, because you can show up information beyond the standard values from OBD2 (depending on the Engine Control Unit).

Which Prerequesites does my car need?

In order that your car is compatible you need to fulfill the following Prerequesites:

• Car of the VAG Concern (VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda, ...)

• VagCom 311 German
• VagCom 409
• VCDS-Lite 1.0, VCDS-Lite 1.1
• VCDS 805.0

Which Hardware / Software is needed?

To enjoy working diagnostics you need two things:

• VCDS-Lite Download
  Freeware Version, which can be used for readout without restriction.
  
  
• USB Diagnostics Cable

How does the plugin work?

The plugin opens the independent Application VagCom and shares the information, which was set before. After that it calls the data from the Engine Control Unit continously.

Therefore please press "Select Control Module" -> "Engine" -> "Measureblocks". Then look at the Measureblocks beginning with "001".

Installation

The Installation is as simple and comfortable as it could be. Because of that the plugin is supplied with a typical Windows Installer, which only needs the Path to your Centrafuse Installation.

FAQ:

Q: Centrafuse does not recognize the plugin, what can I do?
A: If you are using Windows 7 you have to use an administrator account and deactivate UAC

Q: Can I create own Measureblocks?
A: Sadly no. The Measureblocks are set by the Engine Control Unit and can not be changed

Q: Is version xxx of VCDS supported?
A: In theory yes. But from time to time Rosstech changes the windows titles. Im always happy if someone sends me information about the newest changes.

Q: How fast is the Refreshrate of the values?
A: The values refreshes as fast as in VagCom / VCDS
