With the Phidgets 1018 IO Card Plugin for the CarPC Software Centrafuse you can merge your Car with your CarPC seamless.
Get the data of your car and the environment on your CarPC.

The Card has 8 Sensor Inputs which support a mass of ready to use Measure Interfaces. These sensor can measure temperatures, humidity, pressure, distances, motion and many more.
You can also build your own sensor of course.
In addition you can control the whole electric of your car with the Phidgets 1018 IO Card, wire your Wheelremote with your PC, switch to your Rearcamera automatically, control your lights and many more...

Functions


The Phidgets Plugin gives you many cool features:

  • Support for orignal Phidgets Sensors. The plugin already contains the needed formulas to calculate the real data from the measurevalues of the inputs. You just set the type of the input from a list.
  • The Measure data can be displayed within the plugin as well as outside of the plugin (e.g. in range of the clock per "Injection")
  • Control of Digital Outputs (e.g. Control any electric in your car - Lights, Door-Locks, ...)
  • Display of Digital & Analog In- & Outputs
  • Add Events (e.g. Next Track, Mute, Shutdown, ...) that fire, if a predefined condition occurs - e.g. If a button on your Wheelremote is pressed, the Reargear is put in or a certain Temperature is reached
  • You can also "inject" images in the mainwindow of centrafuse. For example if the temperature is low you could display a ice-warning symbol
  • Autoconnect
  • Reset Outputs on Close possible
  • Data is available on the CF_pluginData Interface

The Sensor Configuration


The Mainpart of the Phidgets Plugin is the Sensor Configuration.
You can apply unlimited actions to each Sensor, Input or Output, which are executed if your defined conditions occur.
The calculation of the Inputvalue to the real data can be set with just a few mouse clicks.

Installation


The Installation is as simple and comfortable as it could be. Because of that the plugin is supplied with a typical Windows Installer, which only needs the Path to your Centrafuse Installation.
